The Day of Fools

Yay, April Fool's Day is over!

I only got caught out by one this year and that was LJs. But to be fair, they do so *much* incredibly stupid stuff it's hard to tell whe they're joking!

The GMAIL joke was hysterical IMHO.. click here if you haven't seen it: http://mail.google.com/mail/help/autopilot/index.html

Yahoo UK was amusing if obvious... apparently we're getting showers of snails blown in from France. LOL.

Hope you all had a good day!

Oh have you read the blogpost at the onering.net regarding the new Hobbit movie?

Go here.

Our insider also mentioned some legal wrangling with the Tolkien Estate to acquire additional rights to materials not currently under license which would provide the bulk of the plot for the third movie. What specifically this could be is a guess, but our source seems to imply delving into the back-story of the Istari (Wizards) including Gandalf and Saruman’s youth in Valinor. The inclusion of other young wizards at the academy would provide an opportunity for cameos from LOTR actors who’s story arc doesn’t fit into The Hobbit.
