Dear subconscious brain,

Elf dreams are good. We like Elf dreams.

Elf nightmares, on the other hand, are less good. Orophin in love with a human isn't my thing, but I could deal with that. But killing him off in a particularly gruesome and painful way? (Not to mention completely implausible...) No. DO NOT WANT. And FYI, Haldir and Rumil would not be that calm about it. No, really.

I'm going back to sleep now. I expect a satisfactory resolution.
