tuxedo_elf: (Nemi - Huh?)
Maybe it's the cold stuffing up my head, but I can't help wondering if product marketing has gone mad.

The other day, Neal asked if I needed anything at the shops. I told him I was low on deodorant, could he get me some. He did, no problem. He came back with Nivea 'pearl' for... beautiful underarms.

Beautiful underarms.

Now, maybe it's just me, but for all the times I've asked 'do I look ok?' I can safely say I have never asked 'are my armpits beautiful?' I would hazard a guess that most people haven't. (And if I'm wrong, by all means, correct me.) Generally, I deem shaved, clean and non-smelling armpits about as good as it gets. It's certainly not a body part I've ever worried about being beautiful.

Have I missed a trick, perhaps? Could I have pulled a millionaire if only I had nicer armpits?

Or has marketing actually completely lost the plot?
