Well... damn
My karma it seems has no intention of changing anytime soon. Got called into a meeting today and while I kinda knew it was coming, to hear it confirmed still kinda sucked.
As of August 1st, I am unemployed.
It's not a total disaster, since it is a good long notice period and I had planned to look for a new job once we've moved anyway but... damn. To be forced into it is a bit different!
I know it's not my fault - there is simply no funding for the kind of courses that run on a weekend.
However, I am not telling my parents until much closer to the time. They never thought this job was stable anyway and the last thing I need to hear right now is 'I told you so.' I've been there over two years - that's not so bad really!
But it really could have come at a better time...
