I will never forget the time my angelfish from hell got whitespot so I treated the tank and killed the coolest catfish ever. This thing would follow my finger all over the glass and I swear he tried to talk to me. And the frigging angel fish killed him. I think it got whitespot just so I'd put the crap in the tank to kill the catfish. Evil angelfish.

oh no! is it a saltwater tank? we had something similar happen and have been trying to treat one of our smaller tanks.

No, it's freshwater... it looks like the treatment was too strong... we followed the instructions, but fish forums say half a dose is enough. Damnit.

yea some fish can be very oversensitive to treatments. we had a couple fishies with some scale problem but they managed to be ok with the dosage. *shrug*

I lost 11 neon tetras and 3 harlequin rasboras if you know them... my one larger fish, a siamese fighter, is OK... for now at least.
