Yup, rambling again!

The run-up to Christmas is always busy, but when you're going half-speed it seems busier still. LOL. *Looks at mood pic* I wish I *could* go that fast, hehe.

Last week I had lots of guests... geuzegirly, my Mum and then the lovely enismirdal was here all weekend! :D

This week I have to try to get the place ready for Christmas... including doing the baking! Can't decide what I want to make, though. Gingerbread definitely, maybe coconut ice, but I'm not sure what else. Any suggestions?

Hoping Mum will come over to help me decorate the tree too - once we actually get it!

I've sent most of my cards out, I *hope* they arrive in time, but if not they are on their way, honest!

I was going to make traditional icing-decorated cut out Christmas cookies but ran out of time. Then as a joke, I thought of making gingerbread men and decorating them like the one in the Shrek movies. I nearly busted a gut laughing when the cookie got scared in the move and pooped a Hershey's kiss. Later, he barfed up some other candy...

Half speed? I envy you *lol* I function on a quarter of my usual speed at the moment I think... I got my christmas decorations and tree up but yes, the cooking and baking are still to be done this week..somehow...

What about some of those yummy but slightly questionable looking muffins you made a couple of years ago for Christmas? Even if we couldn't manage Christmas tea we could always take 2 home with us.
