Thank you SO much for all the well-wishes and congratulations! I really appreciate it - I'm sure Aedan does too! ^_^
It's hard to believe he's nine days old already, but at the same time, it feels a lot longer, if that makes sense at all! Possibly not... but I *am* sleep-deprived, lol.
It's been a bit of a rough ride, we're both new to this and I'm always worried that I'm doing something wrong. Last week he stopped feeding which landed us back in the hospital for a couple of days, but it seems to have been just a glitch and we're back to normal now, thankfully!
Hubby has been great.. he can't help with feeds, but he's fantastic at pitching in with changing and soothing him when he can, as well as cooking and cleaning. I will of course have to start doing the cleaning again now he's back at work, but it means a lot to me that he's taken the load off of me in these first few days. He's even said that when I start pumping occasionally (which isn't recommended for at least the first six weeks) he'll do a whole night so I can recharge. :)
All in all I'm really happy... tired, but happy!

Please my friend, remember that you need to take time for yourself to...yes your Aedan is in need of your attention, but you need to pamper yourself to. They say that 3 hours a day helps greatly to releave te stress on a new mother...like in the morning you take an hour to yourself, once in the afternoon and once at night. That way you do not become oerwhelmed. You take this time between feedings and hand the little one over to the Hubby for that hour.
Now of course, this is what I read back when my brother was having his youngest...I cant have children so of course I read everything about that I could...and I just want to say, thank you for shareing your pics of you and Aedan and the Hubby, for those of us without kids, its a treat!
