Elfy thoughts

I was talking to laur_melyanna the other day about Elves, angst and all that good stuff. ;) And I ended up wondering...

If Elladan died and was reborn/returned, what happens to the twin dynamic?

Are they technically still twins?
Does Elrohir then become the eldest and therefore heir?
Would they have any sort of bond still? (Totally fanon I know, but still...)
