I just got refused the sale of alcohol for the first time ever. I'm 29, damnit, I thought my days of being ID-ed were over. I really have to find my damn passport. It cost me an extra £4 to buy the port in a local off-licence.
What really annoyed me though is I was refused for looking under 25. The legal drinking age here is 18! I've heard of being careful but isn't that over-kill? Gah.
