What a day!
Jun. 24th, 2008 12:42 amIt has been a long day.
Aedan is teething and as a result is prone to screaming fits that seem to come out of the blue. At least the teething gel helps, but he is not a happy bunny.
Hubby not being helpful either, just offering useless suggestions. :/And generally being useless.
Mini-crises when my friend's buggy broke as we were about to leave the Mum-and-baby group to come home. Literally, the wheel fell off as she put her daughter in. We couldn't fix it, so after considering the options, I offered to stay there with the babes while she got a lift home with a health visitor, grabbed her car and car seat and came back. So while she hurried home, I was trying to rock Aedan's buggy to get him to sleep, while giving Grace her bottle at the same time. LOL it was - interesting! Luckily to drive there and back is probably a total of 15 mins, if that, so I wasn't there long. But I can't imagine how people with two or more very young children manage all the time! (Felt weird walking home alone though!)
And after all that - I am going to bed.
