Credit where it's due...
In the past I haven't exactly got along with my Father-in-law, to say the least. Thankfully things have improved over the last couple of years and spending time with him no longer makes me want to run screaming, though we'll *always* have our differences.
Right now, however, I'm very, very pleased with him. Last week he was offered a dog - a 2-year-old greyhound who wouldn't race. Since we all know what happens to racing dogs who don't run - he brought her home. :) She's still very nervous, having spent her whole life in kennels, but given time, I have a feeling she's going to be so very friendly.
