OK, so the convention was a lot of fun. I did miss not being there for the whole thing, but I'm definitely glad I went!

I enjoyed LeVar Burton's talk the best - he's very funny and has a thing for English food... though he looked slightly horrified when someone asked if he'd ever had spotted dick! :P

Nichelle Nichols was... interesting. She's a lovely lady, just... a few trees short of a forest! During her talk the topic changed so suddenly on more than one occasion, that I wondered if I'd actually dozed off and missed something!

Then when I got home I found out something less fun - there'd been a huge fire at Camden Market, my favourite shopping spot. I love this place, it has such character and quirkiness. I really hope it can be restored. Currently though, it's not looking good:

On Sunday Dad came to pick Mum up and with him were geuzegirly and Steve. It was the first time they'd seen Aedan, so naturally, out came the camera!
