Baby update and other bits

Had another check-up today. I hate my midwife, she's in-your-face, bossy and never shuts up long enough for me to say anything, but everything is fine AND, after standing my ground, I got my maternity unit tour! I go Monday at 8pm. :D I also only have to have, as I understand it, one more blood test and that's just to check my previously low iron levels. Yay. :)

Am away this weekend, going to the inlaws tomorrow for an early Christmas meal, as it's the only time we can all get together. Also hoping to go to visit Stonehenge, but that's unconfirmed. Then on Sunday we're going to Southampton to collect a couple of bits I won on ebay. We're trying to get things we need for the house before baby arrives, because if we wait until he's here, it'll never happen - and buying second-hand saves a fortune.

Thanks to the generosity of family and friends, we're doing *really* well with baby stuff! We now have the cot, buggy/pram, bath, rocker chair, bedding, clothes and assorted other highly useful things! Special thanks in this post to neinna_weeper, larian, luin77, khylea and geuzegirly! *Huggles* I really hope I haven't forgotten to thank anyone!

Now I must go and bath my doggy... she's a bit smelly! ;)
