Still Alive!
Aug. 16th, 2007 11:55 amHey, just a quick post to let you all know that I'm still alive! :P
I don't have internet at home yet, I'm posting from my temp job. (I'm not shirking work though, there is literally nothing to do right now!)
The move went fine and I really like the new place. It's been a bit of a squeeze getting everything in, since it's a smaller place, but we've managed! We still have a bit to do before it really feels like home, but it's coming along nicely. :)
The area is nice too, very quiet and right next to a field with horses in. It's private land, but there's another field more or less next to it that is public - great for dog walking! enismirdal and I picked a load when she visited me last Sunday!
The rest of the road we live in is mostly older people, which suits me just fine! Have got to know some of them a bit already - I admit I'm finding it a little hard to trust them after what I've been living with, but I'm getting there!
Hopefully it won't be too much longer until I get home internet sorted, it's driving me nuts being offline! Still, at least here I feel comfortable going out - with any luck I can have an actual life again now!
