Jan. 20th, 2007 12:58 am*Kills ISP* So much for 'I hope I won't be gone.' Three flipping days! I hate my ISP. Definitely changing when our contract ends in May.
Well I survived my first week at the new job. I'm utterly exhausted but my manager said today that from what she's seen and heard I'm doing well. Obviously I still have a *lot* yet to learn, but it's a good start I think. Just have to keep it up! But it's a good job and worth working for. The people are really nice too and have made me very welcome.
I also survived yesterday's storm, though getting home was hell. My train was cancelled, as were several others and it took two and a half hours to do a journey that shouldn't take more than forty five minutes. After all that time of a cold, windy station platform, it's little wonder I woke up with a stinking cold today!
