Assorted Ramblings
Nov. 6th, 2006 10:04 pmI'm pleased to say that Smudge has made a full recovery. The swelling has gone and there's just a little scab where the bite wound was. He's back to his old self - tormenting the dog, climbing all over me and trying to steal my dinner!
How I love that cat! ^_^
In other news, I've discovered that my mother has turned into a Dr Who fangrrl. She's admitted that she's ordered all the DVDs and has been reading all the novels... *Grin* I'm so amused. She finally *gets* what it's like to be into something - she said herself that 'You have LOTR, I have Dr Who!' OK she actually said 'You do LOTR, I do Dr Who!' But that bring unwanted mental imagery thankyouverymuch! I'll make a sci-fi geek of her yet! :P
Job is doing my head in. Literally... I think my brain is dying from lack of use! Have stepped up the search for something better though. :) Hopefully now that I am working getting something else will be a bit easier! (And before my muses leave permanently - they're not impressed at the braindeadness the work causes!)
Yesterday we had our first viewing on the house. The guy didn't go for it, but for reasons we couldn't control... like the downstairs bathroom and an overlooked garden. Still, at least we're getting interest. It's a start. I just hope it's not too long until someone else comes around!
