Well, I did something today that I'd hoped not to do again so soon.
I put the house up for sale.
Now, I know what you're thinking. "After all that?! Hell, some people are never satisfied!" And on the surface of it, without any further details, yes, I guess that's true.
But let me explain.
Since moving here, we've had nothing but trouble. I've resisted whining about it on LJ, since my flist has put up with enough of my whinging over the past year, but it's not been good. The shed has been broken into, the car vandalised, a guy has repeatedly tried to sell us stolen goods at our front door, we frequently get eggs thrown at the house and it's almost always noisy.
In addition to that, the house is a disaster, it needs SO much work doing it's not even funny. It's also too small. I've never known a house with so few cupboards!
We haven't managed to settle and so it's time to move on.
Such is life! :P
