I wasn't sure at first since I never got the email (thanks for sending it Agie!) but Silent Song *did* place second in the 'Warm and Fuzzy' category of the MPAs! Have to say, I'm pretty pleased! Didn't place in 'Known Author' but that's OK - it was cool just to be nominated! laur_melyanna and I are writing our acceptance speech together.

It seems to be a good year for awards for me... 'The Lost Hunter' has been nominated for a MEFA too. :) We'll see how that goes in time!

That speech will have to be written tonight though because...

TOMORROW IS MOVING DAY!!!

The big day is finally, finally here after just a day short of *five months*! I can't even begin to tell you how good it feels to know I can finally get my life back on track.

I am not sure how long I will be offline - the engineer came yesterday, but if everything actually *works* when a computer is connected remains to be seen! Basically, it could be anything from 24 hours to a week.

Of course, even if it is only 24 hours I still won't be about much for a bit. I need to get the house sorted and when I'm not doing that I'll be looking for a job! I will probably be on in the evening though, when I get sick of looking at boxes!

I have sent chapter 4 of 'Guardian Angel' and chapter 4 of 'The Flow of Silver Water' to beta, so when Eni-beta's life is slightly less hectic and I'm connected again I'll get those posted.
