Con report! (Pic heavy post)

Oh, where to start? The weekend was amazing! It'll take me a week to recover - but that's ok! *grin*

We arrived on Friday at about 5pm, which gave us enough time to get settled and tidied up before the opening ceremony. Then we went to the cocktail party, where the holders of the first 200 tickets can meet some of the guests.

It was great fun, but my diet didn't do very well...

Spent most of Saturday watching the various talks and getting autographs. I did of course, dress for the ocassion!

Without a doubt my favourite talks were those by Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway from Voyager) and Jamie Bamber. (Apollo in the new Battlestar Galacticia.) Both really knew how to entertain the audience and I definitely have a crush on Jamie. LOL.

The theme for saturday night was pirates and a lot of people dressed up! I was on a table with one of about half a dozen Jack Sparrows!

Sunday was more talks and I attended Kate's and Jamie's again! Kate, it seemed, was rather impressed of the size of things in the UK...

I also went shopping of course and picked up a couple of tops, some pretty playing cards... and these georgeous candle holders!

All in all I had a fantastic time! Sunday ended with sci-fi themed games and another party.

I finally crawled into bed at 4.30am this morning... it's a good thing Neal isn't the jealous type... I spent hours sitting on a sofa with two guys! :P
