Dreaded house update

First though, last night with my aunt and uncle was wonderful! Just relaxing and casual and comfortable. :) When I got off the train my uncle greeted me with 'Greetings! I am Legless, drunken Elf of Revod!' I damn near died on the spot. LOL. This was *after* his highly amusing email on how to get there.

Today we did the by-now-despised house hunting. Saw 5, peeked at another through the windows. At this stage we've made an offer on two. One is better location-wise, but we could live in either. Keep your fingers crossed! :D

Have just discovered the halogen heater in my inlaws conservatory. Am putting it to good use!

An offer we placed yesterday got accepted. I really really hope it all goes through. I don't think I can watch another house slip through my fingers! But there are still so many things that can go wrong.

The house itself is smaller than I wanted, but has scope for extension. At this stage, that'll do!
