Cat and moving update

Since my last post I've been thinking a lot about the cat and what to do with him. Unfortunately nothing suitable has turned up... Sildil offered as a last resort, but she has two cats already and Eni's mum said she might be able to take him, but I have no way of getting him to basically the other end of the country.

Also I got to thinking, what would be worse? To risk the road or send him away from *everything* he knows? After a lot of thought and weighing up the pros and cons, I've decided to take him with me and try to keep him in as best I can. It's not been an easy decision and I'm worried sick, but in light of our situation, I think it's the best thing to do. He knows, I'm sure... he's been extremely clingy these past days.

At any rate, he seems much less worried about it than I am... maybe even eager!



Ironically that isn't just any box he's sitting in... it's the box of 'things I absolutely can't be without!' A sign, maybe?

We move out on Friday and the chaos begins. I'm working Saturday and then going back to my inlaws. I'm taking the PC and the ASDL modem, but it'll take a few days to switch over, so I'll be scarce. Hopefully though it won't be for long. It had better not be anyway... there is *nothing* to do there and I'll be hard-pressed to entertain myself four days a week! There is an archery club though and I'm hoping to find a swimming pool.

The offer we made the other day was declined, so we're still looking. I really hope we find something soon!
