Somewhat desperate plea

I swore I'd never do this, but...

I'm in a bit of a bind. As many of you know, we sold our house a while back, but hadn't found one yet. Well, we did find one, but it fell through a few days ago. So on the 20th of this month, we're moving out and going to my inlaws until we find something. My problem is my cat. I can't afford a cattery for what could be three months and my inlaws live on a main road - plus they have a cat that I fear wouldn't take kindly to mine.

Is there anyone on my flist (and obviously in the UK!) that could look after him for a couple of months? I feel dreadful just asking, but I'm out of ideas. Taking him to my inlaws feels like a death sentance. I can't offer much in return except a meal cooked by my hubby (a pro chef) and the fic of your choice... but I'm praying that's enough.
