Drabble nine

No Turning Back
The forest floor was soft beneath her naked body, as her lover came to lie atop her. She smiled; reaching up to run her hand through his thick hair then rested her hand on his neck as he kissed her deeply.
The kiss ended and he looked down at the vision beneath him, leaning back to run his hands all over her body, his eyes darkening in lust as she squirmed in pleasure.
No words passed between them, their eyes saying all that was needed. Not wishing to wait any longer he pressed close to her as he buried himself inside her warm, welcoming body.
For a time all that could be heard were the soft sounds of lovemaking as the couple moved swiftly towards their climaxes, finding them with soft cries.
At last they were sated and he slipped from her body to pull her into his arms.
“I love you,” he murmured, stroking her cheek. “Stay with me?”
Lúthien looked at Beren and nodded, her eyes shining with joy. Softly, she spoke one word; that finally sealed her fate.
“Forever.”
