I'm back - well, sort of!
After both computer issues and a lengthy discussion with my new ISP (who is not winning any points with me right now) I have returned from offline exile! :P Will still be scarce, but I can at least relax in the evenings again!
It's sooooo good to be in my own place again, even if the house is a long way from perfect! The privacy is just wonderful! Being able to do as I please without being questioned or looked at... *happy sigh*
We are slowly getting sorted and it's just beginning to feel like home... though there's a way to go yet! Once all the boxes are unpacked I'm sure it'll be much better! Well, *if* they all get unpacked. This house is smaller than the last one and I'm really struggling to find space for everything! The difference isn't vast, but those few lost cupboards seem to make a big difference! *Sheepish grin* The layout is obviously different too and so... nothing fits. Heh.
Right now the priority is to get the shower working. The living room lights are still out but we have a nice, powerful free-standing lamp, so I'm not worried. I can and have been taking baths though, so I'm not smelly or anything! ^_^
As soon as I get a battery for my camera, I'll take some pics! Hopefully by then the place will be looking less like a building site and more like a home! I think once we get everything sorted it's going to look really nice. It may be smaller than the last house, but it's quite pretty and the garden, once it's de-jungled, will be fantastic!

geuzegirly is coming up to give me a hand with some of the boxes. I'm looking forward to it - I even offered to cook lunch! *Giggle*
Today I'm taking it easy, but tomorrow I'll be back at it. Just needed a break from all those boxes!
As a sidenote, my new lappy took a dislike to YIM and kept crashing. I have it working now, but once again I lost my offlines. (This seems to happen to me with alarming regularity!) Please resend any messages!
So all in all things are going well. There are problems, but nothing that can't be fixed. I am home!!!
